About L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine
Ala-Gln is a dipeptide with a glutamine amino group joined to an alanyl residue. It has excellent stability and is readily soluble in aqueous solutions.
Uses/Benefits
Glutamine supplies nutritional requirements, improves intestinal health and enhances the immune system. Glutamine is also being used in a variety of clinical studies ranging from cancer treatment, radiation and chemotherapy to treatment of shock and more. In biotechnology, L-glutamine is an essential component for mammalian cell culture medium.
Manufacturing
L-alanyl-L-glutamine is produced under cGMP conditions. Ajinomoto does not use raw materials of animal origin in the production process.
